All-Pro Football 2K8: What Needs To Change

So far, my experience with the latest edition of 2k8 football has been positive, but there are a number of changes I would like to see if they decide to continue this series next year. I do find the gameplay more realistic than Madden and still probably the better option even considering the flaws. Here’s what I would change:
No more playing online matches with created players.
There needs to be some type of “franchise” mode, not simply one season and it’s over.
Finally, there needs to be more customization. We really should be able to select all of the players for our team, not just the select stars.
I definitely agree with you on bringing created players online.
I played against this guy whose entire team was created guys that were 7 feet tall. It was incredibly lame and unfair. The game is supposed to be about balance and when people pull cheap crap like that it really ruins it.
Yeah.. created players really mess up the entire point of the game. I cannot stand people who use the created players myself. They are typically the people who do not have the skills to compete so they create some outrageously large character like you mentioned who is unstoppable in certain situations. I think this should be considered taking advantage of exploits.
Newbies dont let the created player comments stop you from getting the game it is an option you can select at the menu if u want to play created players or not. I don’t like to play people with or use created players either but it is kinda cool to see your name or your favorite current player online. Every game has flaws the one for this game would be too many late hit calls. I do agree that they could have a franchise though for those that don’t have online. I love this game!
