Akella Announces E3 Lineup

Akella, the developer of the well loved Sea Dogs and Age of Sail games has a number of new games coming out in the near future and they plan to reveal the details at the upcoming E3 Media and Business Summit. The titles to be shown include Jagged Alliance 3, Disciples III: Rennaisance, Showdown:Scorpion, Heavy Duty, 2025:Battle for Fatherland, and the action RPG Numen. Jagged Alliance 3 (Anticipated Release Q1 2008) reintroduces players to the Worldwide Hitman League where players compete for jobs against rival cleaners. Over ten non-linear missions are included as you work your way up through the ranks to become the best hired killer in the world.
Disciples III: Rennaisance (Anticipated Release Q4 2007) is the latest in the multiplayer turn-based series. New features include three distinct races with unique unit and city designs, RPG-like advancment for leaders and a new fully 3D city-view. Additionally the game will recieve some tweaks to speed up single player and make the multiplayer modes more fluid.
Showdown:Scorpion (Anticipated Release Q4 2007) introduces an action filled FPS centered around a disintigrating near future where crime lord, gangs and drug dealers rule. A nano-virus is infecting the world under the control of these criminal elements and the need for a hero to stop the nano-plague and overthrow the villains leads your character, the best of the Russian Special Forces, to take action.
Heavy Duty (Anticipated Release Q3 2007) sets the player against an evil galactic overlord bent on conquering your homeworld – his only problem is you and your 80 ton battle mech. Experience a free roaming 3rd person shooter where you can control and configure your walking robot while facing foes in a physics rich interactive (and destructible) game world.
2025:Battle for Fatherland (Anticipated ReleaseQ3 2007): Defend your homeland from invaders and command a powerful robot to drive back the forces of evil.
Numen ( Anticipated Release Q4 2007) places you in Hellenistic Greece during the time of myths and legends. Players create a character and choose from 9 gods to worship. As the chosen of your god you battle other faithful to determine who amongst you is the best and determine which deity reigns supreme.
