Age of Empires III Goes Asian with New Expansion

Earlier today Microsoft announced the second expansion for the popular RTS Age of Empires III. This time out the game is exploring the Asian cultures of the Age of Expansion (1500 to 1850). Included in the expansion are 15 new “Wonders” and new content to give the game more Asian flavor. Big Huge Games, developer of the original title will continue development for this expansion and the title will adopt Microsoft’s Games for Windows approach meaning it should be easier to install and update when used in conjunction with their latest operating System, Windows Vista.
Age of Empires III launched in 2008 and has already had a Native American themed expansion called The WarChiefs. Look for the new title to hit shelves in late 2007.
