Age of Empires Coming to the DS With Mythologies

THQ announced today a new DS title called Age of Empires: Mythologies, and is being toted as an ‘epic strategy’ with ‘fast paced combat’ which includes three playable cultures via single and multiplayer campaigns.
This is THQ’s second foray into the handheld AoE realm with their first effort being Age of Empires: The Age of Kings. This tine around though, gamers will be able to step into the shoes of the Egyptians, Greeks and the Norse where they will control both heroes and monsters and call upon the powers of mythological gods to aid them in battle. A new combat system has been created for the game and it also includes unique maps, skirmish modes, game sharing, and new customization rules.
Currently in development from Gryptonite Games, Age of Empires: Mythologies is expected to be releases this Winter just in time for the Holiday shopping extravaganza.
