‘Afrika’ Update with More Pretty Pictures of Zebras

Zebras. It seems like that is all we have seen or heard about Sony and Rhino Studios’ safari game Afrika in ages. Sure they are very pretty and very photogenic, but there are other cool critters that live in that region of the world too. The dung beetle, vultures, cobras - oh yeah sure they aren’t as cuddly looking as a giraffe or a cheetah but they are still cool.

Anyway, according to Videogaming247 Afrika was slated for an August release in Japan which was then called “just a rumor”, by SCEJ who has also put a teaser page up for the game that says “coming soon”, and then in more Afrika news, PSU put some new screens up for it.

Then, unfortunately for Europe, Eurogamer broke the news that our fellow gamers across the pond will not get Afrika which is pretty crappy on Sony’s part if you ask me. Which makes me wonder if North America will even get it now.

Hopefully soon we will get more details on what actually encompasses the contents of the game other than just pretty animals and who gets it and who doesn’t - so check back with us often.
