A Vampyre Story Brings Back Adventure Games

One genre that has recently been missing is the adventure genre. Some years ago, there were more adventure games than anything else. Sierra, LucasArts, and Dynamix were kings. But nowadays, game companies have little interest in developing adventure games. But it seems Ascaron isn’t aware of this trend and is working with adventure game legend Bill Tiller to bring A Vampyre Story.
A Vampyre Story will play similar to traditional point-n-click LucasArts adventure games, but it will have 3D graphics and an art style that screams Tim Burton. You will be taking the role of Mona De Lafitte along with her bat companion Froderick. As of this moment not much is known about the story, but since Bill Tiller is at the helm, we can expect a lot of Monkey Island style humor in A Vampyre Story.
