2 Wii-motes and 1 WiiJ: He Be Gettin’ Down With No Delay

Jenn Frank over at 1up.com has a blog post up detailing her recent adventure into the world of underground Wiijing. A WiiJ spins and mixes tracks much the same as a DJ, but he does it using two Wii-motes. Each movement and position of the two Wii-motes is linked to a different audio effect, allowing the WiiJ to alter the tune with the flick of a wrist. Specifically the post talks about a concert put on by DJ ! (pronounced DJ “Shift 1″), who performed several live mashups. There’s a link to a video showing exactly how it works and an audio stream of the whole concert on Jenn’s post.
