12 Great Video Games with Ridiculous Premises

Michael Swaim over at Cracked.com has an amusing little article about video games and the “inane task we’re asked to complete”. The 12 Great Video Games with Ridiculous Premises piece is something gamers everywhere can relate to, because who hasn’t had to complete the daunting task of getting an item from an NPC to give to another NPC so that we can take said item to another NPC to get a coin that only fits in a certain box that a only certain person who is in another part of the realm owns and to get it we have to go buy a special weapon, blah blah blah blah blah. THAT to me folks, is a daunting and inane task. The ones Michael writes about are just part of normal game play, which in retrospect, seems most abnormal and makes me wonder whether the guys that come up with these strange ideas take hallucinogens.
