10 Movies That Would Blow as Videogames

Aside from the movies that have already spawned dreadful videogames, io9.com has a list of 10 films that no one should contemplate translating to videogames. The list features flicks that younger gamers will never have heard of while others are titles older gamers wish they hadn’t heard of. I agree most of them shouldn’t have been made into movies let alone games. Here’s the list:
- The Seventh Seal
- Groundhog Day
- Apocalypse Now
- The Incredible Shrinking Woman
- Zapped
- Cocoon
- Zardoz
- Naked Lunch
- Plan 9 From Outer Space
- Encino Man
So now that io9 has thrown down the gauntlet, the challenge is to go against your better judgment and figure out how you would translate these movies into actual videogames of any genre. For example, Encino Man and Groundhog Day could be converted into classic style adventure games. The Incredible Shrinking Woman could be an arcade platformer. Zardoz would definitely fit horror… at least I find Sean Connery in bright red S&M gear horrifying.

ZARDOZ FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My girlfriends and I have a drinking game associated with this film. Every time Sean Connery gets turned on, looks horny or glaces suggestively at a woman–let alone gets it on… we take a shot of bourbon.
Needless to say… 15 minutes or so into this god-awful monstrosity, we are way beyond muddled.
BTW… that is my most fav picture in the world… ask Ron
11. Big Trouble in Little China……
Just felt that needed to be added….mainly because the movie rocked but the game would really just suck.
Go Marlins!!!!
I’ve actually played the Plan 9 from Outer Space game. It’s a point and click adventure from the 90s…
dude apocalypse now could easily be done. i shld get my cusin to check this list hes trainin to be a game developer lol
